The Certificate IV in Competitive Systems and Practices requires a total of twelve (12) units of competency comprised of the following.
Core Units of Competency

Implement and monitor environmentally sustainable work practices
Elective Units of Competency
Group A - Systems
Select a minimum of one (1) unit from the list below.

Group B - Change/interpersonal
Select a maximum of five (5) units from the list below.
|Improve cost factors in work practices
Facilitate and improve implementation of 5S
Mistake proof an operational process
Use six sigma techniques*
Apply statistics to operational processes
Use structured problem solving tools
Group C - Tools
The balance of units, to a maximum of three (3) may be drawn from any combination of units from Group A and Group C above,
not previously selected and/or elective units listed below
Note: Units with prerequisites are marked with an asterisk*. Prerequisite units must be counted in the total number of units required for completion of the qualification.
